Remove or Adjust Shelf Holders
Viking BL, SX, FL, and TC series safes
Release the Shelf
Each shelf holder has two small retention tabs (often referred to as “hands”).
Remove the Shelf Holder
After the shelf is removed:
- Press upward on the bottom of the shelf holder.
- The holder should disengage from the vertical rail.
- Remove it from its current position.
- You can now move the holder to your preferred height.
Reposition the Shelf Holder
- Insert the shelf holder into the desired level on the vertical rail.
- Press firmly until it clicks into place.
- Ensure the holder is securely seated before reinstalling the shelf.
- Repeat this step for all four corners if adjusting the shelf height.
Reinstall the Shelf
- Align the shelf above the four installed shelf holders.
- Press downward gently but firmly.
- The retention tabs (“hands”) will click into place, securing the shelf.
- Confirm the shelf is level and stable before placing items on it.
